The Team
The team at Reepham Dental Centre is small, loyal and established. Our staff love the work they do and it shows.
PRINCIPAL DENTIST Richard Brocklesby BDS (Sheffield,1985),DGDP(UK). GDC No. 60936.
I qualified in 1985 from the University of Sheffield School of Clinical Dentistry and worked in several practices in Norfolk before settling in Reepham in 1993. Between 1992 and 1995 I held a part time position as clinical assistant in orthodontics (correcting teeth irregularities) at West Norwich Hospital. I am passionate about continuing my education and in 1996 I achieved a diploma in general dental practice at the Royal College of Surgeons. I then gained a certificate in endodontics (root canal treatment) from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 2005 to further develop an interest in this area of dentistry.
I have three lovely grown children (all persuing their own careers) and I enjoy walking, cycling, golf, table tennis and anything I do with my family.
DENTAL HYGIENISTS Kim Older, Diploma in Dental Hygiene (1993). GDC No. 262959. Colette Shoyer, Diploma in Dental Hygiene (1995). GDC No. 4905
FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER Emma Newman.
I have worked at Reepham Dental Centre since 1994, firstly working as Richards’ dental nurse until 2008 before taking on my present role. I am now responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the practice as well as duties on reception. I gained my national certificate NEBDN in 1998. I enjoy walking my dog and horse riding in my spare time.
DENTAL NURSE Dawn Preen, GDC No 152045.
I qualified as a dental nurse in Brighton in 1987, where I grew up. I
have worked in several private dental practices over this time, gaining valuable experience. In 2010 I moved to Norwich with my family when my husband changed his job.
In my spare time I enjoy running and keeping fit. I am a keen gardener and enjoy spending time with my family. My daughter is a synchronised swimmer and I enjoy attending competitions with her and love watching her compete.
