Mouth Cancer Screening
At all routine examination appointments we screen the soft tissues of your mouth and pharynx for any lesions, such as thrush, ulcers and for signs of mouth cancer.
We will also examine the lymph nodes in the neck, as these drain the head and neck and any swelling in these glands could be from an infection in the mouth or indeed from cancer in the head.
If mouth cancer is diagnosed and treated early recovery will be much improved.
